   American Drug War
Inside this powerful DVD: America's War on Drugs gives a radical new perspective to the Drug War by putting a human face on the War's casualties, while enlisting help from some unlikely sources. "The Last White Hope" DVD has made ending the US drug war a mainstream Political issue.

The Film’s director, Kevin Booth, takes the viewer on a very personal three-year journey through the front yards, alleys, and prisons of the American drug war. From conservative district court judges to hashish smugglers, from LAPD narcotics officers to the most famous crack kingpin of the 1980's, from actors and doctors to gang members and drug dealers, The Last White Hope casts the Drug War in a new light, an objective view from all perspectives, the result is a documentry that shows how money, power, and greed have corrupted not just hard drug addicts, but entire governments, too.

More importantly, it shows what can be done about these unfair laws. This is not some 'pro-drug' stoner film, but a collection of expert testimonials from the ground troops on the front lines of the drug war, the ones who are fighting it and the ones who are living it. "The Last White Hope" by director Kevin Booth is the culmination of three years of passionate, and personal filmmaking. In no way does it glorify this issue, but aims to inform citizens of how out of control the US government agencies have become as the result of "the drug war" where our police are transforming into para-military organizations that have a strong incentive to keep this losing war running.

This film by Sacred Cow Productions and Kevin Booth has the courage to tell the truth and the power to persuade even the most skeptical viewer that something is wrong in our approach to this often ignored, and unspoken challenge facing everyone of us in the United States today.      The Federal Government has created a class of criminals far more dangerous than the gangsters that arose when it forced the morality issues of a very small number of Americans upon the whole United States adult population when it made the sale and consumption of alcohol illegal during the failed attempt at Liquor Prohibition.
This strategy has failed us once before, and the same force-fed morality laws are failing us again now, but creating cartels that can easily match the DEA's budget.
In Holland, less youngsters have tried or used marijuana, where it is decriminalized, not legal, but tightly regulated, in contrast to the United States, which with the stigma, comes the temptation. The United Kingdom is loosening it's marijuana laws as well. The British are taking an approach that concentrating on more harsh crimes is a better way to spend law enforcement's time and money.
